Dr. Salome Tsurtsumia is Deputy Chairperson of the Roads Department of Georgia under the Ministry of Infrastructure and Associate Professor. A senior official in Georgia’s road and transport sector, she has played a key role in the planning and implementation of major transport infrastructure projects, including initiatives supported by international financial institutions and development partners. Her work focuses on strengthening regional connectivity, improving project delivery, and advancing cooperation across transport corridors in the Caucasus region. Dr. Tsurtsumia also oversees legal, environmental, and social safeguards in infrastructure development and has extensive expertise in procurement, contract management, and dispute resolution.
