Davit Getsadze has been serving as the First Deputy Chairman of the Roads Department of Georgia since October 2025. He has extensive experience in road infrastructure development, engineering, and project management, having held various positions within the Roads Department since 2014. From 2021 to 2025, he served as Deputy Chairman of the Roads Department, overseeing infrastructure development and project implementation activities.
Mr. Getsadze holds a Doctoral degree in Road Infrastructure and Underground Artificial Structures, a Master’s degree in Bridge and Tunnel Construction, and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Georgian Technical University.
He has participated in several international professional training programs, including the U.S. Department of Commerce SABIT program on road construction, a JICA-supported training on road maintenance and disaster prevention in Japan, and a specialized course on earthquake-resistant design in India. He is a member of the International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE).
